Really Cool Paint Brush Thing

Check out this video. It's a new paint brush-like thing being developed that lets you select a pattern or color using a camera on the brush, then paint with that pattern. It gets all the much more cool when they start to work in video pictures.

Geeky, But Cool

This is really geeky. I mean really, really geeky. But it's also freaking awesome. I don't know how much you know about images and resizing, but the idea behind making images bigger today is very basic and results in a pixelated image. However, a new technique for resizing images is being developed that actually changes the picture. It removes unimportant parts to make the picture smaller or adds unimportant parts to make it bigger. Very cool, even if you don't completely understand the technology behind it.

Mitch Hedberg is one of the funniest people in the world. He's got a great image, perfect delivery, and overall probably the funniest and most original stand-up star since Rodney Dangerfield. Unfortunately, Mitch Hedberg died recently of a drug overdose, and watching this video is a salute to his memory.

Tensions Rise in Sophomore Folder

Wow. Just got done reading the Sophomore class folder, and the tensions are overwhelming. Comments are flying about rudeness and justice and spam and appropriate messaging. The HFAC folder, however, appears to have become little more than a place to post URLs. In the meantime, HFAC is backing a full withdrawl of all the Sophomore HFAC members from the class folder. HFAC is supporting the one-week-of-silence cause against anti-class folder posting posters. We're done with this garbage.
